Children

I worked and studied at the Osteopathic Centre for Children in London for several years, qualifying with a post graduate diploma in Paediatric Osteopathy. where I dealt with many complex cases. The experience has been  invaluable in helping  adults and children with complex conditions.

Prevention is better than cure

The carrying of heavy school bags, playing musical instruments, and sitting at computers for long periods can affect a child’s posture.  It is a far easier to correct minor misalignments in the body early on so that an osteopathic check up is a good idea after any trauma growth spurt.

I will discuss with you your concerns and then carry out an examination and formulate a treatment plan if however  another form of treatment would be more beneficial for your child I’ll refer you to the most appropriate health care professional. Your child will usually need to undress to their underwear to be examined. If they are under 16 they will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
